Timbuk2 Shift Pannier Review

Timbuk2 Shift Pannier

Sometimes having one messenger bag on your back isn’t for you. If you have longer commutes or have heavier items to carry, a pannier might be your best bet. You can get a front or back wheel pannier that attaches to your bike directly and save your back. When it comes to panniers, you are generally looking for similar things you would in a messenger bag, storage capacity, durability and material. The Timbuk2 Shift Pannier offers the same great features you would typically see in there messenger bags. It also has adjustable clips for mounting to your bike. It is smaller than other panniers, but this is an advantage as it makes it less obtrusive.

I saw this bag, and it was excellent quality. Then again timbuk always has good quality. Unfortunately I wasn’t looking to spend the money on it. They can be a little pricey. I instead went for another bag I have been looking at for a while from Ken Kiona. The Ryan messenger bag is a canvas and leather bag, not to big, like it can’t hold a 15 inch laptop or anything, but it does hold everything I need. Plus I got it on sale for a great price. Reference: http://www.kenkiona.com. if you have the money timbuk is great though.
